What Is a QR Code Generator?

QR (Quick Response) codes are two-dimensional barcodes that store data — typically text, URLs, or structured information — as a matrix of black and white squares. Smartphone cameras can decode them instantly without a dedicated scanner. QR codes are used everywhere: website links on printed materials, Wi-Fi credentials, contact cards (vCard), payment information (many payment apps), restaurant menus, product tracking, app store links, and event tickets. A QR code can store up to about 3KB of data, with error correction allowing the code to be partially obscured and still readable.
