Wi-Fi QR Code Generator

Enter a network name to generate the QR code

What Is a Wi-Fi QR Code?

Wi-Fi QR codes allow guests and visitors to connect to your Wi-Fi network by simply scanning a code with their smartphone camera — no need to read out a long password. The QR code encodes a standard WIFI: URI scheme that smartphones parse to automatically fill in the network name (SSID), password, and security type. This is supported natively on Android and iOS without any app installation. The encoded format is: WIFI:T:WPA;S:NetworkName;P:Password;; — specifying the security type, SSID, and password in a machine-readable string.

How to Use This Tool

  1. Enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID).
  2. Enter the Wi-Fi password.
  3. Select the security type: WPA/WPA2 (most common), WEP (old), or None (open networks).
  4. The QR code is generated instantly.
  5. Download or print the QR code and place it where guests can scan it — near the router, on a table card, or in a guest book.
